Mountain Bluebirds, 2/5/16, Indian Canyons.  We finally found Mountain Bluebirds on a turnout overlooking fast moving water near the snack bar for Indian Canyons.  A few photos of the omnipresent Western Bluebird for contrast.

At the hummingbird feeder at Park View on a cold, rainy day, at least one, probably two, Orange-crowned Warbler, one of the few warbler species in Palm Springs at this time. The first photo shows a few hints of the orange crown.

A Ross's Goose joined a Snow Goose and the CANG today: they flown from the direction of percolation pond #3 and landed on the golf course.  Note the small bill (with blue-gray tinge near base), the straight vertical line at the base of the bill of Ross's in contrast to the SNGO.
