Silver Sands Prairie WA, Pectoral Sandpiper, Clapper Rail 8/30/16

An unexpected Prairie Warbler (adult male still in alternate plumage--love the rufous back ) showed up btw the boardwalk and Nettleton Pond this afternoon (9/30/16).  Across the beach, a Pectoral Sandpiper foraging with a few SEPL and LESA.  Later, many Clapper Rails were calling, hunting, and bathing near the boardwalk in the main marsh.  There are probably dozens of rails there now.
