10/10/15 Milford Point, Lapland Longspurs

Late afternoon at Milford Point main sandbar, while photographing ammodramus sparrows (Seaside, Nelson's), found a pair of Lapland Longspurs with much alternate plumage--got a poor record shot looking into the sun.  Later, found a basic plumage individual.  Finally, with Jim, found a 4th Longspur, this one in plumage btw alternate and basic.  A few record shots, below:
