A few pictures from a deadheading party at New Haven's Lighthouse Park butterfly garden on 10 Sept 10 (at nearby hawkwatch big thrill to get great views of a Goshawk). A caterpillar, perhaps a Yellow-collared Scape Moth (Cisseps fulvicolis); a Northern Burdock Borer Moth (Papaipema arctivorens)--ID made possible by John Himmelman's CT Moths website); a male Black Swallowtail. Not sure of caterpillar ID--any help welcome.
