After the long storm, we checked Milford Pt today at afternoon high tide. Abut 25 Black-bellied Plovers, a few Dunlin, Sanderlings, and American Oystercatchers. A Peregrine overhead. Quite a few sparrows behaving like sharp-taileds in the Spartina, but none stayed up to be seen. Two Horned Larks feasting on the Spartina seed in the wrack (are these the same ones as a few days ago?) and an exhausted Least Sandpiper. Photos of the Least SP and the Horned Larks below:

Milford Pt after storm: Least SP, Horned Larks
After the long storm, we checked Milford Pt today at afternoon high tide. Abut 25 Black-bellied Plovers, a few Dunlin, Sanderlings, and American Oystercatchers. A Peregrine overhead.
