A few record shots of one of 2 Louisiana Waterthrushes in Racebrook Creek at Racebrook Tract in Orange, CT, 4/24/15. Notice for contrast to Northern Waterthrush, clear white throat; sparse breast streaking; pinkish legs; buffy color isolated in rear flanks; supercilium wraps around head. LOWA found by Chris Loscalzo yesterday. Birds actively feeding from entrance bridge up to area near intersection of white and red trails.
