Yellow-breasted Chat, Silver Sands SP, 5/27-28-29-30-31/16

Chat found easily in same place on 5/31/16 T 7:30 M.  Singing while flying back and forth over the service road.  A chance there are two Chats: we can hope for breeding.

Yellow-breasted Chat, discovered by John Oshlick on 5/27/16, found yesterday and again today, from 5/18/16, just off the main paved road through SSSP.  Also, I found a Yellow-breasted Flycatcher in the deep, dark cover with the foraging Chat on 5/27.  Both birds commonly found years ago when active at  Milford Point banding station, but never saw the birds there except during banding.  Below, a record photo of the Chat and a deer and WIFL today:
