Eared Grebe video, 4/11/17, New Haven, CT

Eared and Horned Grebes, Fort Nathan Hale, New Haven Harbor, 11 April 2017.  The Eared Grebe has been in New Haven harbor since at least January 2017, and it has  transitioned into alternate plumage.  In the video it is associating with an alternate-plumaged Horned Grebe.
