Piping Plover, nearly fledged chicks, Milford Pt, 7/3/18

Video of 2 of a family with 3 chicks shows young stretching wings in company of adult.  Quite likely other chicks have already fledged from the area, and the presence of a group of 4 female adults for two days running indicates they may be individuals who have left their nests either because their chicks have fledged or they've lost their chicks.  (Typically females leave around time of fledging, while males stay later.)
