Piping Plover, Rusty Blackbird, late March 2017, Milford.  All early birds, the Rusty Blackbird is one of a group of 10 at Eisenhower Park, on edge of the model airplane field: 3rd year running for Rusty BBs to be here.  Phoebe found back at metal bride in Eisenhower: it has nested at this spot for at least 4 years running.

Today, 3/20/17,  the AMOY and PIPL are back at Milford Point on the main sandbar.  Also a few other birds.  This is the beginning of some decent weather after a major snow/ice storm and extremely cold weather.  The PIPL, AMOY, and Killdeer will be establishing territories and nesting.
