Walker's Pond, 3/30/18 Pine and Palm WA; GCKI, Carolina Wren video.  Today was over 50, so for the first time Warblers arrived, the PIWA singing loudly.  The woods were covered with Robins and GCKIs, and one RCKI.  Also Brown Creepers and related birds.

This morning at Silver Sands State Park, now suffering "improvements," we found a SNOW on the rocks near Fletcher's Creek.  It was unflappable, and the other people walking the sidewalk did not even notice it.  In its talons is its prey--either a Horned Grebes or an American Coot.  A few photos, and later, video.

Iceland Gull, adult, Long Beach, Stratford, 3/9/18.  This gull was located at Long Beach, Stratford  during Frank M's NHBC walk.  It's probably Mr. Stratford, a gull that has been returning since it was a first cycle gull. identified as Kumlien's.  All the gulls were scraping the rocks for barnacle spat.
