Solitary Sandpiper, Mondo Ponds, 9/9/20

 Again this season a Solitary Sandpiper stopped off at Mondo Ponds on its migration, joining a Spotted Sandpiper.  A few photos of the Solitary Sandpiper:

Long-tailed Skipper, Milford home, 9/8/20

 A Long-tailed Skipper appeared nectaring on Buddleia on this September 8, the same date it first appeared in our yard in 2012.  It was joined by a Cloudless Sulphur (sorry, no photo), a couple of American Ladies, Black Swallowtails, Monarchs, and many skippers.  A few photos below.
