King Eider, Ocean Beach Park, New London, 2/5/19.  Discovered at least a month age.  Photos and video below.  In some photos and video note"modified scapulars visible as blackish 'sails' on back" Birds of NA Online. Also note cheek is tinted green, and will probably become greener as it ages.

(Eurasian) Green-winged Teal, Birdseye Boat Ramp, Stratford, 2/2/19

(Eurasian) Green-winged Teal, Birdseye Boat Ramp, Stratford, 2/2/19, found a few days ago by Bill Wallace.  The Eurasian drake was with about 14 American GWTE.  Horizontal white scapular line and white outlining on face separate this teal from the American GWTE (vertical white shoulder stripe).  Video and still photos.
