Every winter we revisit the Ladder-backed (LBWO) vs Nuttal's Woodpecker (NUWO) diagnosis. Today, 12/29/15, found what we think is Nuttal's at his nest in the Palm Springs Library Park; earlier, at the Wellness Park, we found a male Ladder-backed. Photos below. |
