Brandt's Cormorants, Wandering Tattler, La Jolla Cove, 2/22/16

About 100 Brandt's Cormorant were nesting on the cliff's at La Jolla Cove, 2/22/16.  Below, Wandering Tattler was foraging on rocks near Harbor Seals with pups.  A common partner to the much rarer Wandering Tattler is the other yellow-legged bobber, the Spotted Sandpiper.  Heermann's Gulls in various plumage are always striking, if abundant.
