copulating PIPL, local Glossy Ibis (with LEYE cameo), 5/8,9/17, Milford CT

A few videos: copulating PIPL on Silver Beach (5/9/17) and a local Glossy Ibis in the Rogers Ave marsh (with LEYE cameo), 5/8,9/17, Milford CT.  The PIPL male stayed on the female for about 150 seconds (quite long), and she ended the event by sitting down.  The male often reacts to the end of mating by grabbing the female by the neck or wing, but this time he acquiesces quietly.
